Projects: mHealth for Mental Health: Culturally-tailored Interventions for Managing Anxiety and Depression in Black American Women
Meagan Foster is an agile enthusiast skilled at leveraging methods in systems analysis, human factors engineering, and user-centered design to enhance human-computer experience and tech-facilitated workflows. Meagan received her bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a master’s degree in Biomedical and Health Informatics at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a certified Professional Scrum Master and works as a IT Project Management consultant in the Behavioral Health domain. She is experienced in overseeing the development of products and solutions such as data warehousing, application development, and data mining of electronic health records. Leveraging her technical acumen, Meagan has supported numerous research studies in market research and clinical research industries, including numerous clinical research studies in the areas of prostate and bladder cancer at the Veterans Health Administration. In 2019, Meagan founded The DOMAS Group, a mission-driven business aimed to bridge the technology gap for community-based organizations and small businesses. One of her proudest accomplishments as founder & CEO was in establishing an online HIPAA-compliant appointment request system for a HIV treatment center in her hometown. Meagan is also a research affiliate of the Division of Healthcare Engineering at UNC School of Medicine where she supports research on workplace safety and employee wellbeing

Her hobbies include abstract painting with acrylic and enjoying live music.
