Kaylin is an M.S. Health Informatics student under the supervision of Dr. Terika McCall. She graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Linguistics in 2022, with Sustainability Studies and Statistics minors.

She is passionate about how technology, specifically machine learning and natural language processing, could be applied to analyze and resolve health issues. Kaylin joined the Consumer Health Informatics Lab in Fall 2022, where she works on the IMHOTEP project analyzing mental health related to the COVID-19 pandemic through social network analysis on Twitter.

Fun Fact

I am part of an a cappella group called Contour on campus. And I used to work as a Ropes Course facilitator in college :)
